Equalture is a Rotterdam-based scaleup, building a hiring technology that helps SMBs hire the best-fit people unbiasedly, by collecting unbiased data (through gamification) on both their teams and candidates to base their hiring decisions on. All with one goal: shaping a world in which hiring decisions are based on data instead of gut feeling. Based in Rotterdam, powered by a team of experts in technology and talent acquisition, we have raised funding from top venture capital firms to scale our platform globally.


We are looking for an Organizational Psychology (research) intern as soon as possible (starting date and duration is flexible).


About the job

Psychology and science are the core of our company and product. We leverage neuroscientific games to objectively predict the match between a candidate, a job, and a company. Also, we advise customers on a broad range of HR/psychology-related matters and are improving our product, documentation, etc. every day to help our customers put psychology and science into practice.


These are things we would like you to contribute to:

  • Provide background research on best practices for assessing different aspects of work performance;

  • Set up studies to test the predictive power of our games for different aspects of work performance;

  • Collect and monitor real customer data;

  • Report on the results of your research project.

Requirements

About you

You are looking for an internship where you can make a real difference. You can work autonomously and value integrity in your work and interactions with others. Maybe you have an affinity with SaaS products (as a user or otherwise), but at least you love our philosophy on better hiring. You're not afraid of change and people love to work with you.

Preferably:

  • you study Organizational Psychology (Master) or a related study;

  • you have an affinity for research in the field;

  • experience with psychometrics is a plus but not a requirement;

  • you are a true believer in the power of Diversity & Inclusion;

  • you want to actively contribute to improving hiring practices;

  • you like translating research into something tangible;

  • you like a challenge!
