Equalture is a Rotterdam-based scaleup, building a hiring technology that helps SMBs hire the best-fit people unbiasedly, by collecting unbiased data (through gamification) on both their teams and candidates to base their hiring decisions on. All with one goal: shaping a world in which hiring decisions are based on data instead of a gut feeling. Based in Rotterdam, powered by a team of experts in technology and talent acquisition, we have raised funding from top venture capital firms to scale our platform globally.

We are looking for a Community & Event Manager who can start as soon as possible!

About the job

Equalture is growing fast and acquiring customers from all across Europe. To bring together these amazing companies and accelerate us to achieve our mission of creating a world of unbiased hiring we are looking for a Community & Event Manager. You will bring together customers, potential clients and unbiased hiring enthusiasts creating a thriving community. Organising webinars, learning sessions, online & offline events and actively building partnerships that will further accelerate the expansion of the community. Together with all the commercial teams you’re developing campaigns to improve community engagement and growth.

These are things you will be doing on a regular day (although you have to keep in mind that you need an entrepreneurial spirit since you are going to be the first to fulfill this role 😉):

  • Spearheading the creation of an awesome unbiased hiring community;

  • Work together with the CS team to increase the clients within the community by providing awesome content & campaigns;

  • Manage an event calendar and be in charge of the organisation and successful facilitation of the event;

  • Becoming a thought leader in the HR market;

  • Working on a strategy around our Equal Opportunity Hiring Certification Program;

  • And everything else we now haven’t even thought about!

  • Work together with partners and build new partnerships to organise and promote co-marketing events


About you

You have already checked out our vision and mission and this is something that strongly resonates with you. Ideally, you already bring your own network in the HR-tech scene and can’t wait to expand your network even further (but this is not a must). You preferably have experience in building and maintaining online communities. You love to explore new ideas and are self-starting turning your ideas into something great. Working in a fast-paced environment is something that suits you and gets your creative juices flowing.


  • Professional English Proficiency, and preferably at least one other language: German, Spanish, Dutch;

  • You want to make the world a better place by reducing bias and discrimination in the hiring process, and by making sure that everyone gets a fair chance;

  • You possess an entrepreneurial spirit and can’t wait to take ownership of your own project

  • You’re exceptionally organised and thrive under pressure.

  • Preferably a dog lover….🐕;

  • You have affinity with SaaS, Tech and Recruitment;

  • You’re a real people person and a passionate storyteller.
