About the job

You’ll be the go-to-person for our finances - internally and externally. Which means you’ll be dealing with our MT and CEO, but also our accountant. The position requires you to have an overview of our financial processes and understand them from a-z. You’re the one who You'll be working closely with our financial specialist, Bernadett, and be reporting to the CFO, Simone, and CEO, Charlotte.

These are things you will be doing on a regular day:

• Support the business (all our teams) in forecasting and analysing the actuals to help them improve the financials;
  
• Our monthly closings;
• Collaborating with external stakeholders, like our accounting firm, salary administrator and fiscal advisors;
• Creating internal reports that you present to the MT;
• Supporting the MT in creating reports for our shareholders;
• Managing our Financial Specialist;
• Optimising processes and workflows.

About you

This is not your first job - you’ve closed some years already. We expect you to know finance in the start/scaleup environment too. You’ll be the one who’s responsible for finance, that means you have the overview and you like to actively shape this role. Working with numbers requires precision, but at the same time you’re able to deal with the fast-paced dynamic that comes with a growing company.

Some things on our wish list:

• You have a financial background (preferably in Business Economics or with an AA or RA post-doc) (hard requirement)
• You have knowledge of Dutch taxation;
• You know how to work with Exact Online;
• You’ve worked with an external accounting firm before;
• You’re fluent in (business) English & Dutch (hard requirement)
